What is the color? Because my guess is good as yours lol. On the left side I have intake and output. Right side heater and the little black thing is part of my fixture stand.
Its a true SAE. You would have to look at the scales. Usually a blackish tint outline to them. There is 3 in the tank. They're peaceful and they just chill on the plants.
Around 200 they breed like crazy and I just sold about 20 of them lol

If your not looking into getting high tech then I would suggest changing light cycle to a shorter span.
Another option is to go excel route. This is feasible. But also dangerous territory for bba if not consistent

Bba is co2 fluctuations. An air stone won't be necessary. Adjust your bubble count and check levels regularly.turn on co2 2 hrs before light cycle and turn off at night.

I definitely +1 this, Any tank can look amazing either to yourself or others. If you have confidence don't be discouraged by others. its a fair game and brings inspiration to others.
