Never used Dr. Tims but I've heard that it works well. I did use TSS not to long ago in my 40 gallon with fish in there and it did the trick in a little less than a week.  I would have tried Dr. Tims but I just couldn't find it so I went with Tetra.

Lol that's funny because a puffer is a fish I thought would be cool to have but I know it wouldn't be compatible so I've dismissed that thought. Hopefully one day is right!

Okay, I just read that the opaline was a semi-aggressive fish and would stand up to them a bit. When he turns towards them they never bother him they have to get behind him. Is there any other Gourami you recommend that could be in the tank? 40 gallon tank

Yea it is a bit annoying, but if the gourami didn't run they wouldn't chase him, once he takes off then the chase him. I thought he would stand some ground at least.

Maybe a group of harlequin rasboras, and some neons. And you can put a pearl gourami in there as well, with a pleco when you get the algae growth and a bit of leftover food. I'm pretty new to this but that would look good and they should all be compatible since they're peaceful.
