2nd Angelfish To Have Deteriorating Fins

My last angelfish lost its battle with fin rot last month. I suspected that he got infected by the newly-added angelfish that I got. After the death, I immediately quarantined the new angelfish in a a hospital tank for a month. He seemed fine so I put him in the main tank. He was healthy and...

    New Fish Suddenly Given!

Thanks guys. I'll try these "improvised" solutions! The fish is a small rainbow shark of about 5 inches. I don't know how he survived under such conditions. He's doing fine right now. Imma transfer him to the improvised quarantine "tank" later. :)

    New Fish Suddenly Given!

A relative of mine gave me a fish as a late X-mas present. I was both thrilled and surprised! Unfortunately, the new fish's origins were, by description of my relative, a slightly run-down shed stall with fish swimming in brown, smelly, sticky water. With such unhealthy and disturbing living...

    Very Ill Angelfish

*Sigh* Sadly, my lovely angel didn't make it. He's kicked the bucket and moved on to fish heaven. I got home from school today and found him floating lifelessly on the surface. His fins were nearly gone and there was white film on his eyes, fins, and body.

    Very Ill Angelfish

I really don't know why the nitrate says zero. That's what the testing kit says.Whatever it is, it's only the black angel that's getting affected by all this. So a weekly water change? How much? 50%? 25%? Anyway is there any way for him to get better? He really is in bad shape.

    Droopey Angelfish

My black angelfish appears to be unwell. His fins are all drooped down and he stays in one spot. He moves only occasionally. Strangely, he was as perky as a schoolboy a few days ago. Now he's just, under the sun......... He's in a 40 gal tank with only 1 gourami. Both were bought at the same...

    Snakeskin Gouramis?

That's great! I think I'd like to buy one! :) I have a 40 gallon tank so that should be okay. What though, it stunting? I know in human terms that it's when a person can't walk. What's it in fishy terms? Also what do they like to eat? And what would be suitable partners for them? :D

    Snakeskin Gouramis?

Anybody have any info about them? Anybody have experience with them? My LFS was selling them and they look like absolutely fantastic creatures! I can't get any solid info on them though. Some say they are highly aggressive, some they are peaceful. Some say they grow to monstrous sizes other,s...
