A short while ago I noticed some small white worms in my fish tank and now the lid is covered in small flies almost moth like. What are they? Are they dangerous? and how do I get rid of them?

Not sure how many gallon but it is 6x2x2 it is not set up yet as the black ghost is only about 3" and the eel is about 6" so at the moment they are in a rio 180.

Would a Black Ghost Knife and a Fire eel be compatable? and if so are there any other colourful fish that could go in the tank, like cichlids. Thanks.

No change of rocks or anything, we have a thing (technical term )on the end of the filter which blows bubbles in to the tank.

Thanks I decided to buy him/her. There seems to be no problems with the oscar so far, the oscar just chases the silver dollars. He was eating blood worm and sinking pellets at the shop so I decided to risk it. He is beatiful when he can be seen but tends to hide in the plants and under the rocks...

Yeah I liked the idea they were eating natural food but I have never seen fish in the supermarket buying any. All my animals eat better than we do they are all spoilt, and since cant have cuddles you need to give them nice food.

After hearing you can feed plec's on cucumber I put some in the tank and all my fish went wild for it, so I cut some little cubes for the other fish will this be ok for them? What other fruit, veg or meat can they have for treats and how often can they have them. Thanks
