Well, that's the last of the affected fish (I think). The cardinal tetra was dead in the tank when I came home from work today. The carbon STILL hasn't arrived. Will get onto the shop tomorrow adn find out what's going on. All the other fish appear fine. Should I still redose? Cheers

Cheers Wilder. All seems good in the tank at the moment. Even the Tetra's holding his own. Hopefully the carbon arrives today and I'll treat the tank again. Will keep you informed.

All the other fish are fine, except the last cardinal tetra...he is the only one with white spot. Will I need more carbon after running it for 24 hours (do I throw the new one away)?

The medication nis finished and cannot redose till 7 days (Friday) Interpet Anti white spot is what I used. Will keep an eye on them and do another water change first thing in the morning. Cheers Wilder

I'm just really tempted to put them out of their misery. It's painful watching them. They used to be the most boisterous and lively of all the fish. I noticed yesterday they didn't eat either. It is really saddening. I'm just really angry about that LFS. Really don't want to have a total tank...

Hi, Realy don't know what to do now...both sharks have serious rotting of the fins...that's what it looks like anyway, or something has been biting the pair of them...what should I do?

Thanks Wilder. Unfortunately, the tetra is now dead. Will feed peas this morning. The barbs are still acting strange, but thankfully still alive. Can't believe that shop. All this seems to have happened since I bought the new fish. Will let you know any updates

One of the cardinal tetras is being really hassled by all the other fish. It usually stays around the bottom part of the tank, but is up towards the surface and is being nipped by the other fish. Maybe because it's in their territory. It's also just floating all over the place, like it's being...

I remember about a year ago I had a couple of fishes get fin rot. Had all the nightmare of medicating, and still lost the fish over a few weeks. Don't want this to happen this time around, and certainly don't want to lose the whole tank

Right, an update. Got home from work today and the two loaches AND one of the cardinal tetras were dead. Have just done another water change and the second dose of the treatment. Just fed the fish (flakes) and noticed the sharks aren't feeding either. They swallowed a couple of bits, but only...

OK. Will feed them some peas this morning. It's obviously been brought in by the Loaches, so how long do I leave it before it will better for the other fish to put the loaches to sleep (clove oil). Have never had to do it before, but am worried about the infection spreading. Cheers
