    Madagascar Rainbow Fish?

Do you ever feed them pellets? Or any food that might be too big for their mouths? I've seen that happen temporarily when my rainbowfish have been too greedy and tried to eat something bigger than their mouths allow. Are you able to see if anything is trapped in its mouth or throat?

    Madagascar Rainbow Fish?

I used to have some of these guys, but never came across this. Having said that, I only kept them about a year and a bit so can't say for certain that it doesn't develop with age. How long have you had yours?

    What The Hell Is This?

I ended up netting them. Tried the siphon technique with the first one, but it simply clung tighter to the moss ball and didn't move an inch. I'm pretty sure it was mocking me! Eventually, I got tired of trying to siphon it, so simply scooped up the moss ball with a net. That did the trick...

    What The Hell Is This?

Hi guys, I found an unexpected aquatic insect in my shrimp tank this afternoon. No clue what it is. Can someone tell me what it is and if it's any threat to my shrimp or fish fry? Sorry about all the algae on the glass - I normally let it grow so the shrimp have something to eat...

Eu Ban On Fish Keeping! #handsoffmyhobby

That's a very impassioned post there! Where are you getting the 10 million figure from? I had a quick look at their website earlier this afternoon and it says 1,600 have signed up. That's quite a few people, however, I think we can both agree it's very far from 10 million. Here's where I found...

I'm not sure the Thatcher example is entirely relevant. This would be the equivalent of Thatcher closing the mines, power stations, and every entity in the power/energy sector not only in the UK, but in all of Europe. But getting back to the matter in hand, just because an obscure lobby group...

Experienced Opinions Please! Acrylic Or Glass?

I've only had very small acrylic tanks (mostly for keeping shrimp), and to be honest, didn't notice much difference between them and my glass tanks of the same size. If cost is a big factor, then go for glass as it tends to be cheaper.

Eu Ban On Fish Keeping! #handsoffmyhobby

I can't imagine the EU would introduce a blanket ban on exotic pets - surely even they're not that foolish. It would have a destructive effect on industry, and at a time when almost every government in Europe is desperate to facilitate economic recovery, I can't imagine anyone would go anywhere...
