technically yes, (if sturdy )(which you've concluded) if you evenly balance the ends. I have a similar dilemma with my frog palidurium, the table isn't long enough so the ends hang off the table. I'm sitting right next to it as I type, and it's fine.

I would like to add that I can see 3 small fish which appear to be danios in your provided photo.

I could see a very large shoal of a smaller tetra species, another krib, and possibly but probably not a few golden wonders.

honey gouramis are actually shy in most cases. they do best in a group of around 4. It's the dwarf gourami that you need to watch out for. A betta fish varies, you could easily get a female and that would most likely work out. when buying a female I suggest looking online at breeder's websites...

I love a good knife fish but they grow much too big, MUCH too big. they need aprox. 100 gallons.:D may I suggest a dwarf gourami, betta fish, or a pair of honey gourami

Hi and :hi: finally to TFF just a question, is your tank filtered? I would suggest a few more ottos but it's really no biggie currently. your setup could use a nice centerpiece fish.:)

how many goldfish live in there? how much water do you change and how often? Do you know your ammonia level? to lower the Nitrates I suggest a big water change.:)

I would like to add my gouramis were not skinny in any way!!!

I had the same problem yesterday with my pair of dwarf gouramis (Lupe and Fiasco). unfortunately, Lupe died, I was too late. then I gave Fiasco a salt bath in a quarantine tank. and as of now, he is back to normal. and ONLY the DGs were affected. I also have honeys cohabitating as well.

I'm assuming this fish is from a Petco, PetSmart, or a chain retailer. you are most commonly going to find A VT or CT female betta fish. in some cases (mostly kois) you can find a plakat. sorry, I was just making it easy for the OP.:/

crowntail. A plakat betta wouldn't have the little points at the tail edge.:)

honestly, she seems a little small. my pregnant guppies would look like balloon Mollys. look for signs of heavy breathing and sequesteration.
