That makes my day! My lfs has a big 150 gallon with 3 types of plecos and I love looking at them! Do male bristlenose protect caves if there are no females? I would get a female bristlenose if yes so I am sure there are no problems with the whiptail.

I actually have roobios tea, I use it sometimes in my 10 gallon! I know I should care less about other people opinions, biotopes are really awesome! It would not be a true biotope in my 55 gallon since I have corydoras but all the fish from that tank come from blackwater environment.

I can now say that my tank is relaxing! The last 2-3 months were quite stressful, some fish died, the gouramis were agressive, the corydoras were stressed because they were not enough and there was something wrong with my aquascape. I fixed the aquascape and I like it a lot! I can see how well...

If I could, I would get another tank and get a betta but my parents would not let me do that. The choice is very hard, I have a lot of difficulties to make choices, that's why my 55 gallon is understocked, I can't choose what fish I want to get lol.

I think that just opened my eyes about the fact that I also really enjoy how fish interact with each other like in my 55 gallon. I won't get pygmy corydoras because I am honestly not sure about the tank size, I think I would prefer to see them in 15 gallon long for exemple. Shrimps and broraras...

I really don't know anymore, should I get a betta or boraras with shrimp? I made more research and it's kind of rare that a betta doesn't eat shrimp... What do you prefer and why between the 2 options?

Let me present you my own (cloudy) betta paradise aquarium (without betta)! I added 2 peice of wood wich looks kind of weird because the texture of the wood is not the same but I think it will look good when the anubias and moss will grow on the bigger wood. I will go back to my LFS this...

A lot of the bettas at my LFS are with other fish so I think that gives me a chance to get a more peaceful betta because they would remove it if there was any problems. :)
