best advice Id say is for your live rock by from an existing reefer who is breaking his tank down instead of paying £13 ish a kilo pay £5 ish a kilo and you'll save plenty of cash with that. I personally wouldnt use an external filter simply because Ive read so much about them storing nitrates...

no idea sorry lol same problem i had with the first one and everytime i shut the lid it went under the water i bought the boyu 310 and it fit and could be used without going under the water due to the design and it took a decent amount of crud out the water

hello mate have a search for my river reef journals in marine I did two and great tanks they are too I didnt use media so cant help you there just live rock and powerheads. I struggled with a skimmer I had and used a cheap one Boyu from hong kong on ebay and it fit perfect in the third chamber/...

me too with the reptiles and fish tanks as a result of the lecky bill but will give a chance to take better care of the tanks I have

i wouldnt have thought so my tank when i had them had lots of flow, all it means is theyre natural habitat would be oxygen poor and like knifefish for example they can go to the surface and have a breather

Im thinking about what else to add next to my little 180 litre reef So far it has two clowns, lawnmower blenny, flame angel and fire fish and dwarf lionfish ( allowed to stay as long as hes good ) Im not sure which ones are aggressive or get too big so what wrasses have worked for you guys...

good point by Lissette but I would also add that clowns, blennys firefish which I have kept have been trouble freee for me and lovbely additions to my tank but I would also add that the first time i did a reef I added fish too quickly and nearly messed it all up

ive had no problems keeping either over the years, neons are cheaper but for me cards look a whole load better in a shoal I had 60 in a shoal last year and they looked quality
