Well thats one way of figuring out who is on here too much ;)

So.....   Had a few Guppies die and think ive traced the root of the evil back to the little temple/hut which is apparently an aquarium ornament.   So had a huge rescape of the tank and left no prisoners.      

Thats the perfect way to do it. Theres so much help here plus a chat function were we are all friendly.   Anything in particular you think you need to change?

Havent got a clue which one mine is exactly. Ill look next time im at my local ma as thats the only style they stock.   Im still not 100% sure on the layout haha but thats probably because ive only been using live plants for a couple of months so still tinkering with ideas.

To be fair dont know a huge amount about my lighting. Theres 2x39w t5s and a 39w red one.

Yer moss is a thought, waiting to sort out ferts and co2 before i get any though

Welcome to the forum :)   Im glad to see that you care enough to let it go rather than let it suffer.   Im sure someone will be more than happy to help.

Ive not got one myself but seen a couple of mixed reviews on it. A few people have said the heaters not too great but others have said its good, ill see if i can find the link where i saw them.

Ordered some sagittaria subulata today to put around the front of the middle rock so hopefully thatll grow in and help it blend nicely.   Also ordered some Rotala indica but not sure where thats going yet.   Will post a pic once its all arrived.

I have one of these tanks myself. Only downsides to it is lack of surface movement so you may need something to add oxygen for the fish and those leds arent the greatest but will do if you just go with fish.

These new mods are popping up everywhere :P Glad they all seem great choices :)

pretty sure guppies are a big no with fighters

I agree with Mikey1.   Change a small amount every couple of months if it needs changing.   I usually change 30% at the most myself but im always stupidly cautious.

I dont think there is such thing as bad fish for beginners. Lack of research is the only real issue.

Hope hell be okay :/ As for the pictures, i dont think theyll be much use but thats typical of fish impossible to take a picture of.

Thought id post another pic as im rather impressed with the growth in 5 days. :) Tanks slowly getting there now.  

My first thought would be to go for an island style scape but i dont know how well itd work with the depth of your tank

I am planning on keeping some cories :)

Its not a different colour or anything. Its literally just a round lump off centre.

Hi Guys.   Been out for the evening and when i got in noticed a couple of my guppies have developed lumps on one side of their stomachs.......   Any ideas what it could be?
