i was looking at kuhli loaches put then i would need a sand substrate, so here are the cory in my buget that the pet store has green corys, albino corys, bronze cory and the Peppered Cory, they do have pygmy corys but those cost a bit more so only if those won't work.

i'm not a betta expert but i can say that the males will be more aggressive and may or may not bother shrimp also you can always by a used fish tank that's how i got my 40g for my hamster. they cost a lot less and might come with supplies

what type of glow fish and you should have 6 cory catfish as they are a schooling fish. i'm pretty sure that depending on the speices of glow fish they might need a 20 gallon. this advice i would ask byron or essjay for my help
