    if you look on the internet you can find anything. like plecos in 20 gallon and stuff like that. paradise fish would be too big in you tank, you might see some in the same tank as yours but that's just cruel.

    nope, sorry to say but that rule is pretty bad. if i used that rule on my 20 gallon i would need something like a 35 gallon but really there doing quite well in the 20.

    also most people that have a betta in a community tank have a female betta as they are less aggressive then males. also it may not look like your betta is attacking them but the fish may feel threatened by the betta being there

    i have been told that most dwarf gouramis have an incurable disease. i would go with something like a honey gourami or pygmy gourami (not sure if they are suitable for your water hardness) glowlight tetras and sterbai corys will NEED to be in a group of at least 6

    I had the same problem. when ever you can go to a pet store bring a book and write down all their fish and there price. but only right down fish that you can afford and wont grow to big for your tank. hope this helped

    i think that even the smallest plecos might be to big for your tank. i would go with some small corys and get some "play sand" at home depot our a store like that. otherwise i would take advise from fluttermouth, essjay and bryon as they have all helped me in some way
