Kitty litter looks nice on its own IMO. Stem plants are a pain in the **** to get rooted though if you have any large diggers. I find Amazons and crypts root ok.

Give it time. I have had a snowball plec for about 5 months now and its just started to come out a bit, I see it most days now, so I assume they need to feel safe and happy before venturing out.

Depending on what you want to seal I think you would be better with a pond sealer like G4. epoxy resin needs to be applied under strict conditions at a temperature of +80 Degs or at least heat passing over it as it cures, failier to achieve this can result in blooming and the resin becoming...

Sounds a bit dangerous to me. When I take my bottles to be filled, they weigh them so that the right amount is injected into the bottle. google co2 refill and read about weighing the bottles, temperature etc.

put them in your 110lt they'll be fine for a while.

Yeh she really looks after her tank and recently up graded to this one as she had a 60lt previously. The Bn's breed every 2 weeks so she was getting a bit crowded. There are 4 batches in there some where and about 150 cherry shrimp. (started with 6 about 6 months ago)

I would think you could have an internal power head piped up to a drain or outside, wire this to a timer to switch on when required, then you'd need a ball valve or float connected to a header tank or reservoir of some kind to refill as the power head pumps out. You would also need an over flow...

As said mine was really blue when I got it. I would contact them and ask if its old stock as its not blue. You never know they might replace it!

Could be old stock. I have had a bottle for a while now, it was dark blue when I first received it but now it is nearly clear.

I have had one of my kuhli;s for at least 15 years and it's always been in with clowns.

15mm push fit accepts either copper or plastic pipe; If using plastic you need to put an insert into the pipe so it does not compress. The one you show comes with metal inserts and the white push fit uses plastic inserts. You should also be able to solvent weld into the reducer IF it is a tight...

well I have 15 clowns and 8 kuhli's.. All seem to get on ok.. having said that don't see that much of the kuhli's. except for feeding time.

Tell me about it, :crazy: I have a shoal of 15, biggest being 8". If its not them ripping up the plants its the b***** hoplo's. Got to Love em tho! :hyper: I gave up on stem plants along time ago.

if you're going to reduce the pipe size, you could use an isolating valve, the type you open and close with a screw driver, they are only pence.

I have a Fluval edge with led lighting and my plants are doing very well. Granted the tank's not very big but the lights aren't very bright either and yet the plants are growing well. :unsure:

+1 I use koralias to move the water about, again though not sure the Gourami's will like it. Put some cucumber at the front of the tank, that'll fetch em out I'm sure.

Anubias, cryptocoryne and amazon swords are best with clowns IMO. stem plants tend to get ripped up especially as the clowns get bigger.

Make sure that the uplift pipe is connected correctly, if its not pushed into the top of the impeller housing right it suck air through.
