Quick update on Dr Tim's.   Less than 24hrs after initial dose. Amm=3 Nitrite=4 Nitrates=10 pH=6.8 temp 28C

not quite as advanced as you, but I made a DIY siphon out of pvc for water changing, so I dont need to stand at the tank holding the hose.

How would you prep media for a new tank? put some bio-media in a filter bag and tie it next to filter intake area?   You would still need to check established tank's parameters after you take out the temp media right?
