Hello my names Shaun and last year i had to shut down my tank and rehome the last of my fish due to a house move
and now i really miss my tank so i have decided to rebuild and hopefully improve on my old tank il post up what i have
and what i'll be getting and asking for advice later

i want to do a dwarf gourami tank with a pair of each color variant if thats the right term for it with a help full clean up crew and if its not over stocked by then a ruby shark

Dwarf gourami can be tricky and there are a large proportion that are prone to a disease directly from the trade.
I know this as I've tried my luck with them twice and twice I've lost the pair to it.
 
Having said that they are some of the most beautiful fish that you can buy and I'm sure I'll be tempted again at some point.  Honey gourami are lovely.
 
Ruby sharks are stunning as well.  I've got a large Red Tail in my display tank so sadly a Ruby purchase will have to wait.   What size tank do you have?
 
Will you be considering shrimp as well?  Snails?
