    Best way to treat ich IMO. Turn heat to 86 degrees fahrenheit for about two weeks or until no white spots are seen. After that keep the temp at 86 for 48 hours after and then turn it back down.

    Yes ph and hardness are different. You can look on your water suppliers website to find it or have a LFS test it for you.

    I would wait to euthanize. Closely monitor it (if you can) for 48 hours. If you don’t see improvement I think euthanizing is needed.
