huge female guppy

my guppies came from a neighbor, Petco and an online fish shop. they have been inter- breeding and i see so many pretty colors!

oh... same! i have like 30 in a 75g and the 3rd gen is starting to grow up!

Is her spine supposed to look like that? I have no experience with guppies so I do not know. And I think that she is beautiful.

i don’t think her back is normal- maybe like a sway back horse? she has to wiggle a lot to swim. probably affects her swimming- but not her eating. lol

Simply that is not what a female guppy should look like. She should have a nice straight spine. But if you love her and she is happy who cares.

From what I read while raising guppy fry (for a short time), I believe that bent spines can be caused by dim lights or the lights not being on for long enough while the fry and young fish are developing.
