I would not use a wooden lid on any of my tanks, nor a "canopy"...too many issues with condensate, primarily Glass lids are the only ones I'll ever use

You're in good shape. You can add more fish, but keep a close eye on those params..I'd even wait a day or two before adding more, to be on the safe side
