Sure you’ve all heard this story. Supposedly a Chinese Spy balloon was caught wandering into US airspace. The mighty US Air Force wouldn’t shoot it down because they feared debris falling and hitting civilians. The bogey in question was discovered over sparsely populated Montana so this debris excuse gets “shot down” right there. If , and this is a mighty big if , it was a ballon then it is made up of very light materials. China claims the thing was a civilian craft that wandered off course and has apologized profusely for the errant craft’s meandering. Nope. They know what it is and they are scared just like the US Air Force is scared. This is a bonafide UFO and it is armed with advanced weaponry that makes even our atomic bombs look like firecrackers in comparison.
The cats out of the bag.

Are you saying it's a UFO from the Blimp Quadrant? If so, their technology is lightweight.

Given modern satellite technology, I suspect this story will just blow over.

didn't hear to it was armed with "advanced weaponry"

@Fishmanic All UFO’s are armed with advanced weaponry.
@GaryE It’s from Uranus and looking for Klingons.
But , all jokes aside , the thing flew directly over Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls Montana and was last seen heading toward Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City South Dakota . Both locations are home to nuclear devices. Kinda spooky .

didn't hear to it was armed with "advanced weaponry" China claimed it was a weather ballon which got blown off course.
Yea right - and one in canada also got blown off course and china always respect international law (looks over at south china sea and shakes head).

Personally I think they should fly a heli up there and stick a pin in it.... either way i suspect it won't make it back to china.

Some guy who ordered Apple products and decided maybe throwing a balloon in on his Amazon order is probably deeply embarrassed and lying low right now. Tracking says the order's in Montana.

The Chinese copying the Japanese, nothing new there

In late WW2 the Japanese sent several weather balloons across the Pacific. They were loaded with incendiary devices, called Fu-Go or Fusen Bakudan balloons. Sadly there were six known US deaths when the balloons fell to earth in various parts of mainland US. The balloon programme was halted when deemed to be a failure.

There’s three of the balloons now… very concerning indeed. No way it’s civilian at this point.
