I got a pothos from lowes... Can I plant it on my aquarium if i just rinse it well?

i think you should take a cutting and let it root instead of risking bacteria/fungus from the soil polluting your tank. edit: only the leaves are poisonous "The roots of pothos plants are not poisonous to fish and other aquarium critters. However, the leaves and stems of this plant contain...

    Which Corys Do You Have?

most likely a male fertilized her at the pet store. do you have other cories of the same type? i also think you should put a layer of sand over that coarse gravel substrate , since the cories might get scratched on there for brushing up against it too long

extra protein-y chickens with duckweed!! Then I would compost them. They don't die even after 2 weeks in moist compost but when they do rot, they are very good plant food

    Nerite snail care

I've had nerites for a long time, and what i've learned from it is that you have to have a big tank for them to not be hungry. I have a 75 gallon and when it is normally clean, it can only support around 2 large nerites from the diatoms it has. I'm not sure it this actually does anything, but...

Any opinions on Asian Stone Catfish (Hara jerdoni)?

from a little bit of searching: 1. i want the fish now lol 2. apparently they need groups of 6 or more, and usually if web sources say 6 its better to have 10 or more.

    Found some duckweed…

tbh i love duckweed, its one of the key parts of the ecosystem in my tank. and if there's too much, i just give it to my friend's chickens. its easy to keep under control but hard to eradicate

    Neon looking very odd

im pretty sure it is untreatable as for now, so you should separate the fish to not make the disease spread

    Neon looking very odd

it would make sense if you had one of those no-filter tanks ( i think its called walstad?) in those tanks you have only a few TINY fish and shrimp but that is too much fish for keeping such a cycle. trumpet snails still have a bioload and you should never depend on just them for your tank...

    New driftwood

if you are just keeping it with the fish you found at the river it won't matter THAT much if you boil it or not if you keep the driftwood outside but if you bring the fish and driftwood inside, boiling is a good idea since it will kill critters & critter eggs.

    New river fish

looks like wild guppies (or endlers but def poecilia) just like the one in my pfp! it's nice you can get those where you live. nice mosquito control one male and a few females. they look kind of underweight and stressed so make sure to give them good care in the pond or something

How do you Prefer to Move Corydoras?

i've only moved new cories from pet stores, and i just use a net that has pretty hard fabric to catch them and i just spin it around 360 degrees and they will go down themselves

    Babies!
