So sorry for your loss @Crispii :( I'm worried about @JuiceBox52 too. She hasn't been on for quite a while.

    snails for a 3.5 gallon

One question though, at Petco they had all the female Bettas together in a large tank. The one I bought is now alone with a Nerite snail. Will she be stressed because there are no other female Bettas?

    snails for a 3.5 gallon

I ended up getting a blue and red Female Betta plus a Nerite snail that appears dark brown with some white spots. I cycled the tank in 24 hours by heavily seeding it with cycled filter media and used driftwood. I had the water tested and there was 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and about 6 nitrates.

    snails for a 3.5 gallon

I love Nerites. I have a couple in my 29 gallon. I was thinking maybe an Olive Nerite for the 3.5 gallon. How much should I feed one Nerite?

    snails for a 3.5 gallon

Yup! I have a few in other tanks but I thought they would be too big for a 3.5 gallon

    snails for a 3.5 gallon

I have a 3.5 gallon betta tank that has finished cycling. I am going to get a small female Betta for it but are there any snails or other little critters I could get for the tank? I would prefer not to get bladder snails or assasin snails because I don't want it to get overrun by snails. Thanks...

How far along are my guppies?

Just curious, but is it a quarantine tank they are in? The water level seems really low.

    not again!

I have a giant tower cap snail, 3 mystery snails, 2 nerites, a million bladder snails, and 1 Colombian ramshorn.

    not again!

I've heard they eat plants and I have seen a few nibbles in some plants. The one I have is about the size of a mystery snail. I just keep mine at 76 to 78 degrees fahrenheit. I would think they would eat fish eggs though I don't know for sure. They seem to leave my molly fry alone. I don't think...

They are so so tiny. I have a little over 150 in a container but about 50 already hatched in my tank

    not again!

I had a rabbit snail. Unfourtanetlly he passed away but he was the cutest little snail! He did not eat plants and he seemed to enjoy staying in his shell during the day and crawling around at night. I would highly recommend rabbit snails!

    not again!

so I just realized something. my male mystery snail passed away like a month ago. I have 3 female mystery snails but I also have a Colombian Ramshorn snail. I have heard that they can crossbreed. Is that true? If so, would the babies be hybrids or would some be mysteries, and some Colombian...

    not again!

I hatched a small clutch of mystery snail eggs a while back and there were over 100 baby snails, tiny little snails crawling all over my tank for over a month before I got them all out and sold to my LFS. I never wanted to do that again and every time my snails laid a clutch of eggs I would...
