Hi Aquanut!!!! :) I dont know where you live but there is an aquarium superstore near where i live and they take large oscars.Do you have any superstores near you??They would probably take him :nod: P.S I've heard the minimum tank size for an oscar is a 55gallon but dont quote me on it.I could...

So ive got the male angel over at a girlfriends in her 27 gallon for a week.I got some Melafix today and she is better already.She's eating again and seems alot happier. :nod: I am going to try to reintroduce but if this happens again im getting rid of him but I really enjoy breeding angels...

its just them and a pleco but i think hell be ok and they are really guarding they havent moved from their eggs.i knew something was going on they pushed one of the decorations right over to lay eggs underneath it and moved all the gravel too

Well it is getting really bad her lip is damaged,he tore a peice of skin right off and now she cant close her mouth,shes not eating either and he keeps going at her lip so hes just making it worse.Its really weird they look at each other and flinch back and forth if you know what i mean then...

But i guess keeping their babies wouldnt really wok to fix the problem???ill try moving him out for 3-5 days i guess and then take it from there...*sigh* :(

ok this is getting out of hand,i dont know what is wrong with the male but he is really really agressive :unsure: he never used to be like this it used to be her picking on him.i think im gonna take him out.how long should i keep him out for???

ya everyone is saying that the yellow one should be calm and what not but when i was watching him over at the guy house he was even picking on the huge oscar :o ,ive got enough problems already fish agressive five :lol: ,for now though im just thinking i will nurse them back to health then bring...

well i guess i could keep 2 of their babies,what do you guys think???right now its the 2 of them,5 babies,and temporarily a dwarf gourmais(i had to make space for the convicts)but actaully he doing just fine in there nobody bugs him and he doesnt bug anybody but hes probably lonely :/
