yes i did a fish cycle, for 2 weeks with just the goldfish in then added the tetras and platties... now a week later i've added 2 mollies 4 neon tetras and a plec yes i'm after a fighting fish (think they the same??) and maybe an angel fish then i'll be happy :D but i want to leave it a...

i prefer the new one :)

neon tetras (i'm told) are a good hardy fish to start off with...

ok like i said i am new to this, and was obviously given the wrong info. i will rehome home him tomo and hope for the best. thanks for advice guys

my lfs said that the gold fish would be fine but to take it out if it did get too big, so thought i'd gove it a go...

Hey All thought i'd show off my new tank. i know its nothing special but never the less i'm still proud hehe. i have a gold fish, 5 black neon tetras and 5 red and black platties :)all good so far, touch wood!
