Last night I added a bit of cucumber for my apple snails. Today all the water is very cloudy. I've taken the rest of the cucumber out but the water remains cloudy. I've done a gravel vac and 30% water change, still cloudy. Can this harm my fish? Should I just clean once weekly as usual and not...

I popped a big bit of cucumber in for my apple snails last night, they've been eating it all night but now my water is very cloudy. Is it safe to leave it like this? I've taken the cucumber out.

Yeah Big C is who I asked Marie. I think it's the australe that are very peacful but I got some similar. Some species are agressive and some aren't. Btw the females have virtually no colour, only the males do I posted a pic in the killifish section of the type I had in with my female bettas...

Thanks I'm gonna give it a go and see how I get on with it. The java fern and anubias are soo easy becase they came already attached to wood so all I had to do was pop them in. I tried stem plants before and it was a disaster.
