Help please

that doesn't look to bad to me.

It looks much healthier in the second image, the leaves are much more luscious and green.

It seems to be spreading sideways a lot rather than growing very tall. Do you think I need more coverage at the back? Some cabomba maybe?

I added in amazon frogbit but haven't got much, I want it to cover the surface. Is it easy to grow? Do I need to doything special with it.

Thanks for your advice guys

Haha, you went from thin, pale growth that may give the impression of being bigger, to the actual thicker, more leathery growth that is characteristic of java fern. I like your anubias too, good growth.

Amazon frogbit is pretty hardy. Just give it time, it's really a weed and will cover the surface pretty fast.

Seriously marie, it looks good. Something that has a different texture and shape to the fern would be best, so yeah, cabomba would be good as long as your tank isn't to warm.

Thanks I'll give that a try but I've had no luck with ones I plant in the gravel, they just keep coming out when I clean the tank.
