    A Question Of Molly Fry

You might be right about the little one sneaking in the bag! When I worked in a pet store, selling livebearers every now and then a little baby fish would get in the bags :shifty: . She does look heavily pregnant and hopefully you will have babies soon. What other fish do you have in the tank...

    A Question Of Molly Fry

I would suggest getting a netted isolation tank (net breeder) that you can float inside your tank for your little baby molly. Often a Female Molly will still look very round, after she has released her entire batch of babies, because she may still be full of fertilized eggs, that will soon begin...

    White Film On Harlequin Rasboras

I was thinking that it is possible they got a shock when introduced to your tank, due to a higher pH, then the stress could have reduced their immune system resulting in getting the fin rot. Maybe some have a better ability to cope than others. I might be right in saying that bog wood can lower...

A To Z Of Tropical Fish Diseases

Camallanus If you have this round worm, your in for a rough ride. Known as a fish keepers nightmare, I would have to agree from my own personal experience. My symptoms include sudden deaths, fish becoming skinny for months before I saw this worm sticking out my fishes bottoms. I haven't seen a...

    White Film On Harlequin Rasboras

Yeah I have read they can cope up to 82 degrees but the pH might be slightly high for them as I also read this up to pH7. Maybe this could be the problem? I would also suspect that the move to a new tank has possibly stressed them and they have picked up the fin rot and I would up your water...

I'm not to happy at buying fish from Dobbies Garden Centre (EDINBURGH) as about 3 years ago I was kindly given Camallanus  from buying guppies from them. I went back to the store and saw infected fish. I tried to report the problem to them over the phone and they never got back in touch!

    Molly With Issue-Cross Post

I was thinking that her scales where damaged too, If so ensure to maintain a good water quality and see if you can work out how she injured her self. It should heal up in time and keep a close eye on her for new symptoms just in case we are wrong about the damaged scales.

5 Yr Old Angel Died, Hole In Gill Of Survivor

I would up your water changes to keep the possible wound clean. I tend to do 20% water changes a week and sometimes more when I have a population explosion. Place some tonic salt in the water as that too will help to keep the wound clean.

    Guppy Marking

Yeah I was thinking he was a snake skin but it's the fine dots at the end of his tail that makes me think he's might have mutations of the grass in him! Don't quote me but I think snake skins are more lines than dots, cobras are more dot like than snakeskins and grass is very fine dots from...
