Camallanus Parasite Help

Yes don't be sorry! :good: Just found this excellent article that may also be some use to you, they are recommending a slightly lesser dose of 1.5ml for a 60l tank and a water change in 24 hours which is better than what I said so just go with that, after all who am I to argue with a doctor  in any case it's not easy to overdose fish with Levamisole as it is excreted from their systems rather rapidly, let us know how you get on and goodluck! :) http://www.loaches.com/disease-treatment/levamisole-hydrochloride-1

I remember reading this article and found it useful then lost the link  Cheers betta for finding it :hyper:

Ok, thanks guys for all the help, I have read through that article some great info in there! :good:

I have ordered a bottle of the 8% Levamisole but they couldn't express post it,so I hope it come in 3 days!

I will keep you all posted on my progress, and I am sure I will find you all some more questions to ask you!

Thanks again anyway :good:

Ps I was thinking about writing this up and putting it in a Emergency Section for future use of others(as I couldn't fine anything oh here). So if you have any additional info that you have that I could put in would be greatly appreciated!

If I knew what country the OP was in I might be able to tell them exactly where to get
Levamisole HCl for treatment of Camallanus Nematodes and other internal parasites.

FLUBENDAZOLE 10 % Water soluble Powder treats protozoa wasting disease, serious treatment for Velvet, enternal and external parasites, half gram treats 20 gallons Gets rid of unwanted snails without killing everything else, even the MLS .......
It is the BEST Hydra treatment available.

Oh well- maybe one day this site will set things up so we can respond based on where a user is when it comes to helping with meds etc.

Because I do get wild fish recently imported I need to keep both these meds on hand.
