Thanks for your help guys but he died while I was at work :( devastated! A couple of my cardinals died a couple days ago and was very similar symptoms?? Could this be a disease in the tank?

He is moving sometimes but mostly just either sitting on bottom or lying upside down in a plant he’s not bloated and no spines sticking out

Everything coming back normal, heater and filter in tank he is in 72 litres just some cardinal swordtail and mollys and Pleco and snail. Had tank and him since May

He is still breathing but just lying here not moving

My cardinal tetra has been swimming rotating round all day not keeps lying on the floor like this how can I help it

My api test kit doesn’t include ammonia test? Just GH and carbonate hardiness ph nitrite and nitrate

I’ve taken it out the tank and have in a cup I think it did eat earlier I fed them all

General hardiness is 120 Ph 7

I never cycled it fish shop told me to put fish in it I don’t have lice plants

Yeah he was like that when I got him I just got him yesterday my tank was set up two weeks ago nitrites and nitrates were both 0 the others look fine I will include pictures

I got 4 platys yesterday and 3 seem to be swimming about fine but this one is at bottom of the tank all the time
