Platy lying at bottom of tank

I got 4 platys yesterday and 3 seem to be swimming about fine but this one is at bottom of the tank all the time

Was he that skinny when you bought him? He either has TB or a bad case of internal parasites believe. Do you have pics of the others? How long ago did you get the fish? How long was the tank set up? Did you cycle the tank? What are your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels?

My guppy had this, and it was TB sadly.

Yeah he was like that when I got him I just got him yesterday my tank was set up two weeks ago nitrites and nitrates were both 0 the others look fine I will include pictures

Could we have the exact numbers of the others? Do you have live plants? If you dont then nitrate at 0 means the tank was not cycled. Could you walk me through how you cycled it?

I never cycled it fish shop told me to put fish in it I don’t have lice plants

Ok. So since it was not cycled you will want to test the water every day and do a 50-75% water change everytime the ammonia or nitrite rises above 0.

Fish shop employees often do not know much (If anything) about fish and most of us here on this forum have learned that the hard way :) that's become rule #1 for me...dont listen to a fish shop employee unless I know them personally and know their knowledge level ;)
 
For the sunken stomach....is the fish eating? @Colin_T will step in here for the treatment as he is much better at explaining it all

My api test kit doesn’t include ammonia test? Just GH and carbonate hardiness ph nitrite and nitrate
