Thanks for the condolensces (sp?) Freakin' Sasha pretty much owns my ten gallon, now. Lillian is much happier by herself.... in a bowl with a cover that doesn't leak. I'm not getting any more girls for a while. =/

When they cant fit into the other guppies' mouths... You should probably wait another 2-3 weeks depending on how often you are feeding him and how fast he's growing.

Had her for less than a week... I'm sure most of you heard about her jump? Thought she at least deserved a rest in peace topic... after such a pitiful little life with me. :-(

Haven't gotten to that yet.. but she's surely not in jumping condition now. The folder should work okay so far.... Update: She's able to swim to the surface and back down with control. Seems okay... breathing fine. Carpet stuff mostly gone... I'll see if she eats tomorrow morning. If she can do...

I put a heavy folder over it... and have an air stone going. Dad was great and took me out to buy some stress coat. I put a few drops in the water. She also let me get some of the carpet junk off her. She's swimming around a tad bit more.

Oh my god. I just got home from practice and she'd jumped. Behind my desk, in fact. It took me several minutes to get her back in water... She's covered in carpet and her fins look like crap and it looks like one of her gills is damaged. I'm going to lower the water level.. what else can I...

My biggest girl, Sasha, who is much bulkier than my smallest, Vicky, has been nipping at her. The only time Vicky doesnt have her stress stripes is when she's eating. Last night, she was being prodded more than I liked so I put her in the breeding trap for just a bit to see how that would go...

The tetras might be okay. =] And if the guppy is male, I wouldn't do it. I've had some pretty evil guppies in the past. They took out my poor betta, Sunset. Poor buddy. But uh yeah. You could try, but just watch and be careful.

Just give hi msome more time. As long as he's still looking at the food you're okay. It took my Takuta two to three weeks before he started eating regularly.
