i just got 2 new dwarf puffers

Most of those above mentioned strike me as being rather big so the dwarves might have some trouble or even be scared of something of that size, snails the size of their eye normally are chrunched. bigger sized snails tend to be picked out of the shells i find most LFS will give or sell you...

    Freshwater puffer community?

I wouldnt suggest more than one type of puffer in a tank becuase some are more agressive than others which means the docile ones will be picked on a great a deal. What kind of FW puffers are you talking about? Dwarfs and South Americans? forgot about congos but DP and SAs are the common FW...

i just got 2 new dwarf puffers

Try getting some brine shrimp (live if you can) as it isnt very good staple diet but it will jump start their appietite. Mine love small pest snails, you can normally get those from any lfs as they are unwanted for general little to no charge. I would really suggest heavily planting the tank...

    Salt Water DIY

starting to take an interest to marine tanks and was wondering what are some of your folks diy set ups ie filtration, lighting i think one of the best parts of a tank is getting it set up and making things such as hardware its alot more satisfying when you've made the purty tank as opposed to...

    Red Claws and community tank

hmm well i may make a crab tank, that would be in my best interest , depending if i can get my hands on this tank but i think i'll wait and theres no way i'd put a crab with puffers as they would make a horrible half eaten monster out of him!

    Red Claws and community tank

I was looking at some red claw crabs and i think there were also some fidler crarbs( a name along those lines) and i was thinking would they work out in a 55g community tank consisting of: amano shrimp ( might be eaten! by crabs now that i think of it!! :-( ) , 3 tiger barbs, 1 emperor tetra, 1...

    B. Rams

well i moved them to the 55g community along with a new germany ram they all get along well due to the size and decor of the tank but the have their odd scuffles they put their fins out, tilt their nose down a bit and kind of hover then one either backs off or one chases the other its...

    Rams :)

rams are pretty good community fish except when they breed they can take over that 10g tank pretty good i wouldnt put too much else in that 10g with the rams but i tend to keep my tanks less crowded its less risky that way but rams go with almost any community fish, very purty fish though :alien:
