the question now becomes wheather the Eheim Pro II 2026 is worth the extra $60

I can get a Eheim Pro II 2026 for $240 and a Fluval 405 for $190 Which should I get? Is the Eheim really worth the $60 for a 55 Gallon tank?

I suppose the fluval can be 'okay' depending on your standards, if you want crystal clear water, not just clean water, then this is not what you want, go for the AC instead

Fluval is absolutely trash, i will tell you right new and here, no bs I have one + another HOB filter, water quality is horrible, go for a canister instead, I dont have experience with the fluval canister, however. I am leaning towards Eheim, as I kinda lost my faith in Fluval products

I think i have some problems then, i have fully plastic planted (lol) tank its on the left hand corner, and it is really hard to get to the sand without ruining the look, any ideas?

What about the back? i have plastic plants, alot of them, im counting on the cories to stir those, the front of the tank can be stirred in 30 seconds
