I think my silver dollars and some of the other fish will eat the plants though or won't they?? I might just go with artificial ones and change the substrate to sand, also when using sand does it ruin the filters??

I was told they were the best its making like a really bad vibrating noise and sounds like the impeller I can't imagine air making that much noise it cost £94 aswell!!!! I'm goin to check the impeller tomorrow and if it still does it I'm taking it back I think, thanks guys

Thanks a lot just recently upgraded from a 65litre to my new 160litre :) yh I love the firemouth cichlid although he does get a little territorial sometimes, any suggestions on any new fish?? The pleco and reedfish are goin to a different tank bare that in mind :)

Hi There, In need of some quick advice on the best and most quiet external filter for a 160ltr tank at the moment i have 2 Marina S20 Slim Filters And there rather noisy any suggestions on what to do thanks.

I have just added the snakehead its benn in the tank for around 5 days and seems perfectly happy with its surroundings and other fish the people at the store said I would be fine aswell and it now has a hiding place next to my golden nugget catfish, getting a tank upgrade soon aswell can't wait!

And the fish housed in there at the moment are totally fine had no problems what so ever and the people at the store said there would be no problem
