i need some dark loving plants. ive read the other links etc on this forum, they say they love low-high light for most plants, but it has to be either low or high. i have some java moss can anyone give me some plants which like dark conditions?

i have got some java moss coming which ive been told likes little light so will be good for my tank. all the plants listed on the link aobe require light low-high so does this mean that they will grow in my very low level lighted tank?

theres nothing on google, ive found pics of it but nothing on how to keep it. is it that im not giving enough light killing them off?

heres a pic of my plants not very good, is that enough lighting given off from the above bulb? cos if you look the leaves are turning brown when they should be green, i am currently putting in aquatic plant food so the only thing i can think of is the 2 hours a day lighting is killing them

HOW MUCH NATURAL LIGHT do they need ? mine is hidden in a corner and is very dark, you need the light on to see the tank clearly, is this bad for the tank? this is not the problem the temp, i think its the darkness its right in the corner which doesnt get any natural light

its in my bedroom the water boiler is in a cupboard there so my room gets very hot thats why im having problems with my temp

i never new setting up a tropical tank would be so many problems, ive had problems with getting the temp right, water turning yellow, keeping plants alive, getting filter to work right arghhh

ill buy another temp guage just to check. whats the rough temperature that guppys etc can live in ?

i cant get myy water to stay heated at 27 or under, i have turned it right down but it goes up to about 28 or 30. anyone else have any problems with these heaters?

my water has gone a yellow tint. its a new juwel rekord 70, in its firs stages, been setup for 2 days with just gravel and a bit of wood in there, last night the water turned slightly yellow anyone no why?

is this right? starting from the bottom a fine blue sponge then a gap then a course blue sponge then a green nitrate sponge then black carbon sponge then on the top a white disposable floss what i did was 2 coarse at bottom 1 fine blue 1 green then white pads but i dont think this is correct
