Here's the thing.. I love my bettas VERY dearly, but we're planning to add a kitten to our family fairly soon.. And in order to do that, we have to rehome most of our bettas. :-( I was very looking forward to spawning them, but that doesn't seem like an option anymore due to available time...

Ahh! That's what happened to me. :look: We stuck our ramshorn in the 75 gallon, and within three days, he stuck himself on the intake tube.. never moved again :crazy: Rest in Peace, Escargot. xP

What a lucky person you are to find such a nice male PK in an LFS! ;) and if she IS a female, then she's one of the prettiest I've seen. :good:

That most definitely isn't 5 gallons, it's about 1.5 to 2, I have one just like it as a back up tank. Good luck with the setup though!

Yep, I use that. I also feed Hikari Gold Pellets, frozen bloodworms, and occasionally live brine shrimp.

Dante was flaring and I grabbed my camera, I just can't stop taking pictures of this gorgeous boy. :D Hope you don't mind I've posted so many. These are probably the best I've gotten of him so far. He's also got a huuuuge bubblenest going in one corner. ^_^ He knows he's hot stuff.

Here are a couple better ones. ^_^ They're a little more true to his color. He has unbelievably bright colors in person. :wub:

Unfortunately, I don't. Kale destroyed his own bubblenest and decided to spend all of his time chasing Akela around the tank. :( I had to separate them. It's not working out for Kale right now, maybe if he gets another bubblenest going I'll try again.

His bubblenest got pretty big, so I released Akela. She came over to check out the bubblenest and he took a chunk out of her anal fin. :grr: It seems fine now. She's out of the way, and he's really starting to build the nest.

Aha! Kale's finally figured it out. We have a bubblenest under the IAL, and it's growing fast. :lol: Sorry if I'm talking to a wall here. :X

Uurrgghh. Kale's starting to frustrate me. His bubblenests keep disappearing and he doesn't know where to build it. ~_____~ I'm going to try putting half a styrofoam cup in there to see if that helps him out.

I'm planning to eventually divide Kale's 5 gallon tank to make room for an Opaque HM. I was wondering what you all used as a divider? My tank's an Aquascene 5. I'll give measurements if anyone needs them, but I'll probably end up cutting whatever I buy myself. Thanks!

I know I'll be needing BBS for the spawn. We have a hatchery, we've had it for a while, We ordered it offline, I have NO idea where. Here's the problem. It came with a paper telling how to maintain and clean the hatchery and how to harvest the brine shrimp, but no instructions on how to put it...
