    Water Help

I've recently aquired some fish that require very soft and acidic conditions (ideally gh 0-4 and ph 4-6). I've put them in a tank that used to house standard community fish. I had set up the tank with many oak and a couple of catappa leaves and also filled it with a old ro unit which gives a...

Best Way To Get Rid Of Fungus

Over night I did a large water change and also added a small amount of aquarium salt to the water and this morning the fungus has nearly all disappeared. Now the edges of the effected fins look a little tatty and are a bit bloodshot. Is this an improvement or not? I also brought the myxazin...

    125 L. / 33 Gal. Low Light, Low Maintenance

George the tank has progressed really well, as with many others I’m very jealous of your balansae. I agree with your plans to replace the C. balansae with the Cyperus helferi, although it will be a shame to remove such impressive specimins the C. helferi is likely to look better. Just a...

    I'm A Nub!

I think it could be a lack of potassium, a common sign of this is are wholes forming on leaves and them increasing over time. Do you feed your plants at all? Regular doses of trace ferts should stop this, if it is a potassium problem.

    Hydor Co2 Systems

I used to have one they are the biggest waste of money ever, it may seen quite a cheap system to start off with but replacing the bottles more than once a month makes it very expensive in the long run, its quite difficult to get a constant flow rate to. mine and many other peoples systems ended...

    Plant Shipment Gone Wrong

I have to disagree with what people have said on what plant it is, to me it looks like a plant called lindernia but I’ll probably be wrong, I received some lindernia from a online seller instead of some rotala I ordered, it wasn’t in the best condition either and it was difficult to get it...

Small Tanks: Rhinox 1000 Vs Dymax Atomiser

I can't really give you a answer to which would be the most efficient as i haven't used the Dymax atomiser, i have however used a rhinox 2000 and had the same problems as you at 1-1.5bps, (the bubble not being tiny).
