Here's a fun game for my fish. Current Surfing. My tank is a Trapezoid (Half a hex) and at the 2 points, there is usually alot of current, well, the fish swim up to it and will let the current take them, swim back to it and repeat.

I love those little goldfish. Turn my head to see some brown algae on the tank with them nibbling on it. I was planning to wipe it off, but they seem to enjoy it.

Haven't seen the little buggers ever take a nap. I can tell they rarely sleep because they pick at the gravel at night. Back 3 years ago, when I had a betta, it's basically all he did was sleep.

Well, as soon as I get to my tank, my fish are there, trying to basically get out at me. If you stick your arm in the tank, you will get "Pecked" by the fish. They will almost jump for food And leftover food is never a problem in this tank.

After months with acrylic rocks, I've finally changed it to gravel! I snagged my grandmother into buying it, and in return, all I had to do was wash her car. Now, after 2 and a half hours of 1: Taking out the stupid acrylic rocks and decorations with hidden poop flying everywhere messing up...

Actually, it's an 8.5. I had gotten it before I had even joined this forum, so, I knew nothing of fish. The very first day I had piranha, sadly, I had him in a tiny betta bowl, which got upgraded to a 1g tank with oxygen then finally this.

On the weekend, as most of you know, I moved my tank. It's on a stand kind of besidish my window. I'm having a problem with a brownish kind of algae or slime. If I see it, I wipe it off with a clean cloth. It's not a huge huge problem, but I does get annoying.

I've heard rumors that if you've had fish in an uncycled tank for 6 months, and you are moving these fish to another cycled tank, without taking any water out of the old tank, would it be cycled for the other fish? :blink:

This is not true, the only way to cycle is with your ammonia and nitrites and those fun chemicals. Don't listen to that junk. Do it the real way.

I hated the thermometer I got today, so I went back and got an inside one. IT STILL DOESN'T WORK. It's a floating inside one with a suction cup, so I put it in, and it reads 28 Celcius! I know for a fact, my water isn't that hot. Any help?
