thanks for your kind words... Itty- I put him in a half gallon container with about 3 inches of water, he keeps freaking out and running into the sides of the container because he cant get his mouth underwater.. I wonder what this mysterious disease is..I hope he makes it through the night

is there a top to your bettas tank? is there a filter? if not than I would say dont burn them in that room because there is parfum in incense and it will settle in the water and could harm them.

well after finding that one of my albino corys had dissapeared in my 10 gallon, i decided to do a little inspection and syphoned my tank..and found half of him (well more like a quarter :sick: ) and got that outta there. I had him for about 3 months, i have no idea why he died, but anyways I...

he is probably closer to 3 years old since they sell bettas at around 6 months to a year at pet stores. Bettas have been known to live anywhere from 2-5 years..so he could possibly getting slow from old age :(

your trying to breed them right? if so, is everything set up right..the right water temperature, the right atmosphere (dim lit room or cover the tank on top, also some hiding spaces for the female) how big is the tank they are in? if all is right and they are still not interested than you should...

is it new gravel that you are using? if so then if its not thoroughly cleaned all the dust fragments will come to the top..even after a bunch of water changes it may still happen. it could also be the type of water conditioner you use. to see whats causing it, you can after a water change use...

aww hehe what kind of birds do you have? its so funny when they are all fluffy and then when they get wet they look like scrawny chickens :lol: its weird because angel loves to go in the sink with running water, he will dance around the water and jibber jabber, but if i bring him in the shower...

when it gets humid or hot here in the summer, i usually give Angel, my quaker parrot a bath in the sink so he wont have the urge to do this and get water everywhere on the floor! :blink: but he didnt have patience today :lol:
