just a funny picture

when it gets humid or hot here in the summer, i usually give Angel, my quaker parrot a bath in the sink so he wont have the urge to do this and get water everywhere on the floor! but he didnt have patience today

How cute

Both of mine bathe whenever they want. Jojo usually bathes himself everyday in his water dish. He really loves the water, and just can't get enough. When you change his water, he runs over to the empty spot, waits, and jumps in as soon as you put it there.

Bubba likes to dip his head in his water dish, because he is just too big for his whole body. He will bathe in a bowl, and he loves to go into the shower with you. He also will fly over when you are doing the dishes, and he will wait on the side of the sink until you are done, and slide in.

They look so funny when they are both drenched

aww hehe what kind of birds do you have? its so funny when they are all fluffy and then when they get wet they look like scrawny chickens its weird because angel loves to go in the sink with running water, he will dance around the water and jibber jabber, but if i bring him in the shower he just sits there and looks overwhelmed lol

Bubba is a Nanday Conure and JoJo is a Green Cheek Conure.

Bubba loves the shower. We let it pool a little in the bottom, and he races into it when you put him down, and then he splashes and splashes. We sit him up on the sindow will, and then he takes a nap.

He even reacts to the sound of water. If he hears the faucet, he gets all puffy and flutters his wings, just like an imaginary bath.
