I think you may be referring to those that are not watercolours, I am just teaching myself this medium and it is quite difficult, especially as you paint the opposite to oils, ie light to dark not dark to light but am self taught all round so hopefully I will improve :)

Lol, had to use up the 3 bags of gravel that we already had but its not too bad, wouldn't have been my first choice admittedly.

ok put an old painted canvas behind his tank, he came out from under the ornament after a couple of mins, went up for air a couple of times then settled in the middle part of the larger plant which is what mine does so will monitor what happens.

yes we can try something out of course I maybe wrong but it could also make sense.

Been asking on the forum for you today and it struck me that maybe he is stressed about seeing his reflection, I know he is no longer flaring but it doesnt mean he cant see his reflection and he came out of his hiding place when I turned the lights off to feed him. Not sure how to stop his...
