Lol, had to use up the 3 bags of gravel that we already had but its not too bad, wouldn't have been my first choice admittedly.

I personally wouldn't use the coloured gravel but in this case you have a good contrast between the green plants so it's not actually that bad.

Lots of greenery is nice!

I love the colored gravel. I think this forum (not in a bad way) is pro natural look. I'm all about a tank being fun but still has all of a fishes needs.

Post some pictures of your tank/s jwalser - we like pictures and I don't think we are snobbish at all. Some prefer natural, some more colourful. Neither is wrong, both are right as long as the fish are in a healthy environment and their needs are met.

Mama, Agreed and I wasn't saying snobbish, just more or less it's frowned upon to have color (based on my experience) and I recently posted pics

CelticJade - I've got your tank (recognise it from the pic ) and your plants look great!  Can't get much to grow under mine.  I had to replace the blue light with another daylight bulb but yours look like they are doing fine
