I will be moving it into the tank but it will not be running.

I plan to completely rescape one of my tanks and i will need some time to rescape. If I was to put two dwarf puffers into a 10 gallon box of water how long would be okay before they would need to be moved back into the cycled tank. I will be doing 50% water changes daily.

I’ve been busy and not been on the forum for a few months, in this time I have created this planted vivarium. I had to add a water section too for some vampire crabs, and i’m probably going to put in some red eyed tree frogs. Does anyone have any suggestions for good vivarium plants that are red...

I’ll add some liquids ferts, I have never used them before and haven’t had many issues until recently.

Yep same for me, any photos people attach will only load partially and however long I wait 99% of the time they don’t load properly

So I have 2 dwarf puffers in a 15 gallon and I would like to add something else, I know people say you can’t keep anything else with a group of puffers but there are only two and they are quite timid now the group is small. It’s a shame for a tank this size to have such little life in it so does...

I was siphoning water out of my fish tank for a few seconds then I look back up and it’s flooding into my bedroom carpet and completely missing the bucket lol

Thanks i’ll give this a go tonight. I really hope I find him because he was the cutest thing :sad: I also have flightless fruit flies but the cultures are dormant at the minute.

The last 7 days have literally been the worst, 2 of my puffers died from jumping out the tank, 50 feeder blue bottles escaped in my room, my baby millipede has escaped and is somewhere in my room and I have no idea where, as i’m writing this a blue bottle has just flew over and landed next to...

At least it’s somewhat back to how it was, but it will never be the same :sad:

The fire at strikes was tragic, all those huge koi that died in it, so sad it was my favourite place to go when I was younger.

There’s a maidenhead in my local dobbies too lol. Maybe me and @essjay go to the same maidenhead aquatics :thumbs:

I heard of a guy who survived 7 lighting strikes! Not sure how true that was though.

Nice tank, but the pleco needs to go. 5.5 gallons is far too small for a pleco as they do grow quite big. Also personally I think 5.5 gallons is too small for platys too. But other than the stocking issues your tank looks nice ^_^

Another idea: buy some cheap acrylic online cut it to shape and slot it into the gap.

I’m not sure if this would solve the problem but I think 5 hours is a little short for the lights. I personally would do something more like 6-8 hours. I probably spend 5 hours just admiring my tanks anyway ^_^

Can relate woke up to two of my beloved puffers dead on my floor after jumping out of my tank, and my parents both really ill about to head off for a corona test.

I have a piece of glass which sits on top but the corner was lifted, that’s how they got out. Two are still alive and two have died :(
