I recently moved two of my pregnant female platys to a seperate 10 gallon so that they can have have their fry. It has been a couple of days and they are very pregnant and i have noticed them hiding all day long and only coming out to feed. Should i be worried or is that normal for them to do that.

Ya my tetras are new to the tank so it might take some time before the come to the top and eat with the others. When i got my neons it took them like 2 weeks until they started to explore and eat at the top.

My 5 bloodfin tetras always stay near the bottom and dont school as much what should i do. They are with one groumie, 5 danios, some platys, cory catfish, one pleco.

Ya use a bubbler and you should be fine. Add some plants also.

In my opinion i think that a 30 gallon could have 3 happy swordtails no problem. But as for the r gouramis that may be too much because they are territorial.

I havent seen any fish being picked on i just guessed that it was the new fish, bloodfin tetras, that nipped at my one danio i havent seen amy other problems though.
