Holy crap that is huge!  At what size roughly do they stop eating Algae? that is when I was thinking about getting rid of them. Also does anyone know a better fish that will eat Algae instead (Must be peaceful)? I heard shrimp eat it but I can't seem to find Shrimp in NZ for less than $80

But they are Young Plecos at the moment. I myself don't see it being too bad for them in a 100L till they do get larger.  in which I would sell/giveaway to someone with a bigger tank or I might end up with a bigger tank.

I was going to move him to one of my other tanks once it has got bigger its like 5cm long (including tail) at the moment. Would he make too much waste even if I clean tank twice a week?

I thought you were meant to suck the rocks with the siphon to get rid of like poo and old food? I don't mean actually take the rocks out and clean them.

Quick question about using a siphon. When I siphon the water out + get bits out of gravel it takes out the water too fast to clean all the rocks. Am I meant to put the water in the bucket back into the tank? or just clean different parts of the tank each time I do water changes?
