Apple snails will sometimes float... not exactly swim though, my ivory apple snail seems to go onto the air disc on purpose as a quick ride to the top :huh:

hey, I have just noticed Ich on a couple of my fish, I know there is treatment you can get for it but I need to know if it will effect my bristlenose, ADF's or my applesnails, especially baby apple snails only a couple of mm big, also could you please reccomend the best treatment in the UK...

yeah I really like it too :D maybe my best bet would be to phone the lfs where I bought it and see what they say... I have a feeling that they will just say it is aquatic lol

lol, i think i already have a Dracaena (dragon plant?) as a house plant, the plant at the bottom has been there ages :) Its a shame if its not aquatic because I really like it, would I be able to just grow it as a house plant? lol Thanks for the quick replies!

hey, I was just wondering if this is infact an aquatic plant, I bought it a few days ago from my lfs and there does seem to be new growth on it but I have been trying to find out what it is and I cant see it in any other tanks :unsure:

yep, I just wanted to add that pay as you go electric does work out a lot more expensive in the long run, If you want to save money on electric its probably best to have a normal bill and just watch your usage as you would with the key (or failing that hook it up to the nearest lamppost :shifty:)

Big lfs seem to have a distinct smell, is it the same as that?
