My 14 plecs (in 6 tanks ) go through 2 cucumbers and a courgette every week ( in addition to all other foods ).The oldest is 9 years old so it proves if you feed them properly they thrive.
Sold as L204 but looks nothing like the one in my Datz book. Any ideas as I can't find it in the book.I have 2 about 5" long.Shape of head says they are Panaque to me.Thanks
I have two of these about 3" LONG IN A 4 FOOTER WITH JUST A SMALL PLEC.I was on the point of adding something else when I have noticed them in the plants dithering side by side.No aggression so I am presuming some sort of courtship.Anybody got any experience?
I got two of these a few weeks ago and they are on their own in a 4 footer. However all they do is hide and seem very timid.Very little info in books or internet.Anyone kept them or got any info?
Thanks a lot

Anybody got a good source for 12 and 14mm PVC hose as used on Fluval filters. The shops want up to £4.50 a metre for the 14mm and that's just ridiculous. I want about 8metres of each to re-fit some filters and these prices are just silly and there is obviously a massive profit margin.Any thoughts?
I am moving shortly and my 8 tanks ( 1 x 5', 3 x 4' + 4 smaller ) are to go in a double garage.Obviously I can'y use all the room so I'm looking for some ideas as to how to section some off and insulate then heat. Any ideas, suggestions, advice as to materials etc
I have raised several batches of corydoras successfully.I use a length of air tubing and carefully syphon the eggs into a 2 litre pop bottle with the top cut off.You have to gently scrape as you are syphoning. Then float the bottle in a tank, adding an airstone to the bottle.Once they hatch I tip...
