ok... i have placed miracle mud in a reactor, pic to follow and the flow is limited into the tank.. I have seen pics were caulerpa algae is placed on the mud bed... but im guessing this is to combat nitrates.. As i have a nitrate reactor im sure i'll not need algae.. So maybe this reactor may...

Snap... Hmmm i may look into this.. As this is 2nd time ive heard about miracle mud..

I guess it would eventually... and may in time i guess not do a good enough job in a heavily stocked tank.. I guess i just want to cover all bases.. Have ample ways of keeping everthing tip tip in case one method fails..

My main goal is to try and reduce the ammonia/ammonium.. At the moment, calcium levels and Mag levels are fine.. I dont really want to decrease them as such.. though.. i suppose.. If zeo is going decrease these, maybe increasing them to a higher concentrate and then using zeo to decrease all...

Does anyone know if you were to use Zeolite how would you include this is a setup? Or if it needs something else with it for it work? I have read that only certain types can work within a Marine setup.. Just wanted to know if anyone has does this successfully? Thanks
