The frist one is a pic of a FALSE zebra pleco (butterfly), sorry it is a little fuzzy.
The second is of my male sting ray, he likes to hide under a a cave, but who is to tell him that I will be taking it out soon cause he is too big for it (typical male)
The third is the friendly and very active female looking ang begging for food, she is so cute :*)
And the fourth is the some of the rest of the clan, the angles. The black lace veil is 6".

the male......

the female

the angels

I might be paranoid about breaking it.....
Very cool ray! "someday" I think I'll get myself one with arowanas!

Trust me, when we decided to get a big tank, we consulted with a house builder, and my hubby's friend. You can drive and SUV into my living room.
My hubby's friend is a framer by trade..... :hey:

I didnt even notice how pretty the nugget and the Angels those are my favorite fish

Got the ray bug now Angle Lady?
IF you want some research info, I can lead you to a couple of links....
The first thing to know is that you must have an imaculant tank, they can handle no nitrates.
Also, the bigger the footprint of the tank, the better, they need their space!
The best species to start with is Motoro (didn't get that, cause uhm, there are none up here) :X
Any more Questions, lead them this a way, I can help you!

Gotta love rays.....

I've always wanted a ray, amazing creaturs they are

Well they would live just fine here in my tanks some of my tanks have nitrates and some of them have none. I have been planting my tanks Can they handle plants????

Ah ha, about time earth girl!! haven't seen any pics from your tank for ages......

what rays are looking good and nice selection of plecs there.

just to correct :p with rays you can have nitrates up to 40mg/l

Any chance of a full tank shot?

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!
@ombomb is so right, plants can be with rays, but they have this lovely tendancy of digging them all up!
Mine are all fakies (which really bites, cause I love real plants!).
I have some fake plants and bogwood in my tank, bt they are placed in the corners, I will post a full tank shot tonight (Paul) to show...... :*

Here is a full tank shot, honest I was not drinkin'
This is the female ray, climbing the walls as she and her partner do every night!
It is a wonderful show every night!
