I'm always asking for help in the endless struggle with the discus agresion in my tanks. I'm thinking of putting some oscar in my new tank, as i'm looking for a calmer setting

the amount of chaceing these fish do starving the weaker fish, by not letting them eat it getting to me.. that why I have close to 8 tank now just for them..

here is some pic's of my main display tank in the living room..

Once a pair of discus paired off the fights are over and I remove them and place them in a breeding tank ( theye are 90 gallon breeding tank ) I get some pic's of my breeding pairs. but most of my fry in currently outside in a cheap foldup swimmingpool. is works great and since the current water temp in the swimming pool is between 32 and 34deg outside the growth is great.

Oh very beautiful discus!! I wish I had that many! Oh well, four is plenty for me.....except one day they are going to stop eating their eggs and then I'll have too many to handle!

I love the Pigeon Blood, great specimen!!

Are they stress bars in the others or is that their normal colouration, in particular the one next to the Pigeon Blood in Pic 1?

Your Java Fern's looking a bit sorry for itself!! LOL

Great tank, nice work. I'm looking at keeping Discus in the future. I'm looking at a 4x2x2, possibly planted with metal halides and co2. What maintenance regime are you working? Do you use RO?
