WOW! i am very suprised you see him! as they are noctural! i have one and i NEVER see him. They usually find some wood and just hang upside down from it.

Thanks guys, he seems to think he's a frontosa and he just hangs out and pesters them with his whiskers but they don't even flinch.
I've been watching him all night, he swims about at mid and lower level just investigating everything. I think he's just glad to be in a tank where he's not taking blows to the body all day.
